I had been hearing, seeing on TV, and
starting to shop around on the internet about "mineral makeup." In 2006, I had a very dear friend and co-worker tell
me about this makeup her niece was selling and asked if I would be interested in coming over for a makeup party to try her
mineral makeup. I spent an hour or two at her house with another lady and we laughed, had a good time and applied Dechant
Sheer Minerals.
It was (and still is) great ... and I
am one who has problem skin. I still battle with breakouts at times (some worse than others), uneven skin tones, and
just issues in general I want disquised. I have found the concealer to be my best friend some days. The
product was user friendly and easy to apply. I finally watched the DVD that came with my starter kit, got some more
pointers and just kept loving the makeup line. Plus, the best response of all was when I was at work and students
were commenting to me how good my makeup looked!!!
Now, I am the type of person that really doesn't know how to function if
I don't have a million things on my plate. OK, not really, but my mind will see an opportunity and wonder if I could
somehow fit it in to my already hectic schedule. Thus, my venture in to checking out the business side of Dechant Sheer
Minerals. And after much thought and consideration, I took the plunge (so to speak) and invested in the business venture.
I started out just talking to my good friends and family to see if they would be interested in trying it. I had a couple
of local people hold parties ... and have had some one-on-ones. Now because of time constraints of in-home
consultations ... I am venturing in to setting up this website ... advertising ... and reaching out beyond my current customer
base ... and running an e-commerce business.
Now, when you do business with me ... here is who you're dealing with.
I am happily married since 1996 and have 4 wonderful children. We live on farm, I work full-time during the school year
with alot of flexibility during the summer, and the kids are involved in many activities. We have cattle, we farm, we
have dogs & cats, I like to take pictures of my kids, chat with my friends, drink a Dr. Pepper, and just in general enjoy
life. I will not pressure you to buy anything from me, but I will make and take the time to help you choose the color
best for you. I will also include sample colors of foundation for you to try in case the 1st color choice
is not a perfect match.
I love it, and I'm sure that if you try it ... you will love it as much
as I do. But if you don't, that is ok too. However, I know many friends that do love it as much as me.
